The participation of the ACCIONA 100% EcoPowered, the first electric vehicle, in the Dakar Rally, the world’s most extreme motor race, has come to an end today.
From here, we want to give our sincere thanks to all those who made making history possible: we were the first vehicle to not use a single drop of fossil fuel throughout the Dakar’s 37 editions.
We would also like to thank the organisation (ASO), for facilitating this experience, supporting us and believing in us.
To the drivers, mechanics and electrical engineers for their tremendous commitment to this challenge that has made our vehicle stand out because of its innovation.
To the other teams for the solidarity they have shown us.
To all the Chilean, Argentine and Bolivian public who have welcomed us with open arms and affection.
To the million fans who have encouraged us through all the media channels. To everyone, thank you so much, from the bottom of our hearts.
We are very proud to have been able to leave our mark on Dakar, but not on nature.
